Wavelet and Huffman Coding Optimization with V-Variable Image Compressor in Image Compression

Abstract
This study proposed an optimization method for image compression using wavelet and Huffman coding with a v-variable. The optimization was conducted by dividing the low and low frequencies in the image through wavelet and compressing the images separately from the high and low frequency and high and high frequency, making it possible to perform multi-level compression using v-variable. The images are then transformed into one dimension and stored using Huffman encoding. This experiment achieved higher compression rate compared to the established method.
