Abstract

The microgrid is an interconnection system of loads and various distributed energy sources, as a microgrid system, it can operate in parallel with a larger interconnection system or operate stand-alone so that if there is a disturbance in the main system, the microgrid can still perform its own distribution and generation functions. to supply the load. The purpose of this study was to analyze transient stability by simulating 3 cases, namely loss of state power plant (PLN) source in the form of hydropower plant (PLTA) Bakaru G2, loss of wind power, and loss of diesel power. The simulation results show that in the case of a generator disconnection, the loss of one generator will not cause the system to go out of sync. Because, if the generator is disconnected, the lost power supply can be backed up by the interconnection system. The simulation results of the three cases experienced a voltage drop but were still within the safe limits for the 150 kV system and also experienced a frequency drop but still within the safe range according to the ANSI/IEEE C37.106-1987 standard, namely 97.1%, 97.2%, and 98.8%.
