Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the DOTS strategy, drug swallowing supervisors (PMO) and the procurement of anti-tuberculosis drugs (OAT) with compliance with treatment at Mamuju Regional Hospital. Method: The research method used was descriptive-analytic with design cross-sectional, using statistical test Spearman Correlation (Rho) Total sample of 29 people. Primary data obtained from interviews using a questionnaire. The data is processed using the SPSS 16.00 computer program then presented in the frequency distribution table and its analysis. Results: The results showed supervisors swallowed drugs with medication adherence due to positive and strong direction p = 0.00 (p 0.05) and r = 0.246. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the drug swallow supervisor (PMO) with medication adherence and the direction of the relationship is positive and strong.
