Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a common comorbidity in CVD and significantly worsens outcomes. Over 20 % of patients treated for suspected Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) have T2DM, which doubles in-hospital mortality and increases the risk of Major Adverse Cardiac and Cerebrovascular Events (MACCE). This study investigates the association between diabetes status and MACCE incidence in patients with Non-ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI), along with the severity of coronary lesions. ## Keywords - Medicine - Myocardial infarction - Diabetes mellitus - Internal medicine - Comorbidity - Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus - Incidence (geometry) - Cardiology - Acute coronary syndrome - Disease - Type 2 diabetes - ST elevation - Endocrinology - Physics - Optics --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
