Abstract
This paper presents differential amplifier circuit structure built from bipolar junction transistor (BJT) and used to implement reconfigurable membership function circuit (RMFC), important components for analog fuzzy logic circuit. The RMFC can be reconfigured in term of its shape: the S-shape, Z-shape, trapezoidal-shape, and triangular-shape. The adjustment values are in the outside part of the circuit using variable resistors or potentiometer for determining the form, slope and position of membership function in the universe of discourse. In the circuit realization, this structure can be implemented as standard cell library in integrated circuit design.
