Abstract
This paper reviews previous research on optimizing agricultural sustainability. A literature review was conducted to evaluate related articles discussing integrated farming system sustainability, resilience, and technology. Researchers tend to study the sustainability of integrated farming systems that can increase business efficiency and maintain soil fertility to realize sustainable agriculture, especially in small-scale agriculture. Sustainable agriculture produces more than half of the world’s food which is an ecosystem that guarantees the integration of regional food security, ecological resilience, social and economic development in agricultural areas. Such conditions will lead to strengthening of the farmer’s economy, and technological advances have been identified as the main driver of growth by various studies. So that through the optimization of sustainable agriculture, crop-livestock integration systems can increase land productivity without the inclusion of inorganic fertilizers from outside, as well as increase the sustainability of land use while maintaining soil organic matter content. The robustness of the crop-livestock integration system provides benefits and increases farmers’ income through the use of appropriate technology.
