Abstract

The research objective to be achieved is to determine the effect of strong current variations from 100 A to 160 A (Step 20) on the joint strength of the weld direction with the Longitudinal, Transversal, and Combined (Long-Transv) models. The method used is to form longitudinal, transversal weld joint specimens and long-traverse welding models and produce the best welded joint position output model. The results of tensile strength testing using the tensile test machine show the output time value used, maximum loading, maximum stress, and maximum tensile strain. The tensile test results show that the maximum tensile strength of each current strength is given, respectively, namely the connection of 100 Ampere current strength variations in the direction of the combination model. (Long_Tranv), σmax_Komb_100A = 331,574 MPa, connection with 120 Ampere current strength combination model (Long_Transv), σmax_Komb_120A = 335,370 MPa, connection with 140 Ampere current strength combination model (Long_Transv), σmax_Komb_140A = 332,315 MPa and connections with a 160 Ampere current strength combination model (Long_Transv), σmax_Komb_160A = 332,685 MPa.
