Having biological activity as anticancer, PBSA was derived from the modification of piperine by click-type reaction of thioamide and sulfinyl azide. It was treated in several conditions such as 0.1 N HCl, 0.1 NaOH, and 3% peroxide for 7 days with sampling on days 1 and 7 respectively. This method was evaluated on the SHIMADZU® HPLC system integrated with a PDA detector. The analysis was arranged in an isocratic separation mode in column C-18 (COSMOSIL®), 150 mm x 4.6 mm, column particle size: 5 µm. The mobile phase of methanol and water at a ratio result showed that PBSA was stable to acid, base and peroxide. ## Keywords - Piperine - Chemistry - High-performance liquid chromatography - Chromatography - Benzene - Peroxide - Degradation (telecommunications) - Base (topology) - Methanol - Forced degradation - Reversed-phase chromatography - Organic chemistry - Telecommunications - Computer science - Mathematics - Mathematical analysis --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
