Abstract

The fire suppression system in buildings with sprinklers has a huge role in preventing fires from becoming wider. It is known that the system will work shortly after the fire is detected, and instantaneously water from sprinkler spray will drench the room and can damage the electronic equipment inside. This is to be solved by designing an intelligent sprinkler system that is capable to destroy a fire point. The system uses two servo motors as drives and a photodiode as a fire sensor. A range of sprinkler system that is simulated is 90 cm while the range of the flame sensor is 40 cm. The test results in some scenarios that indicate the system is able to extinguish the fire point within 8 seconds.
