The effectiveness of the intervention can be known by looking at the results of pre-test and post-test blood pressure of hypertensive patients. The type of research is pre-experiment with one group pretest posttest design. Sample in this research is patient of primary hypertension that is 70 people. Data analysis was performed by using Wilcoxon test with α = 0.05. The result of p-value on systolic blood pressure before and after intervention was 0.000 (<0.05), there was an effect on the intervention effort on systolic blood pressure change, p value at diastolic blood pressure before and after intervention was 0.000 (< 0.05), there was an effect on the intervention effort on changes in systolic blood pressure. The conclusion of the research results is the intervention of healthy lifestyle effective to lower blood pressure in people with hypertension. It is therefore advisable to patients with primary hypertension to always maintain a healthy lifestyle and check blood pressure to health workers regularly so that blood pressure can be controlled. ## Keywords - Blood pressure - Degradation (telecommunications) - Medicine - Primary (astronomy) - Internal medicine - Veterinary medicine - Intensive care medicine - Computer science - Physics - Astronomy - Telecommunications --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
