The structure of the new alkaloid was elucidated from spectral data, and compound 1 was shown to have hedgehog signal inhibitory activity. A related new alkaloid, 6,9'-dihydroxystaurosporinone (4), was also isolated from Arcyria cinerea. ## Keywords - Alkaloid - Hedgehog - Stereochemistry - Inhibitory postsynaptic potential - Spectral analysis - Biology - Chemistry - Biochemistry - Signal transduction - Physics - Spectroscopy - Neuroscience - Quantum mechanics --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
