Methods: We conducted a qualitative synthesis using thematic analysis and categorized the articles into four areas: public health and epidemiology, biomaterials and regenerative science, clinical and surgical sciences, and rare pathologies. Results: Public health studies mapped silver diammine fluoride research (659 studies), showing progression from laboratory evidence to policy implementation. One study linked authoritarian parenting (80%) to higher childhood caries severity (56.7%). SERVQUAL analysis of Indonesia's insurance dental services found assurance and empathy to be key satisfaction drivers. Biomaterials research has emphasized sustainable compounds, with silk sutures showing mechanical stability but limited durability, chitosan-alginate-fucoidan hydrogels supporting cell viability for socket preservation, and hyaluronic acid with Limosilactobacillus reuteri enhancing collagen formation. Moringa oleifera extract in endodontics showed non-significant antibacterial differences but also potential benefits. Clinical reports have demonstrated systemic oral health modulation via increased BDNF in rats exposed to physical activity and UV-B, highlighting minimally invasive pseudoaneurysm management, early recognition of toxic epidermal necrolysis, and the successful Schilder technique in complex anatomy. A pediatric buccal embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma case achieved regression with coordinated chemo-radiotherapy. Conclusion: This issue reflects a shift toward preventive, patient-centered, biologically inspired, and systemic care approaches. Future priorities include implementation research, longitudinal behavioral studies, clinical biomaterial evaluation, and standardized protocols for complex and rare conditions. ## Keywords - Public health - Political science - Public relations - Sociology - Public administration - Gerontology - Engineering ethics - Work (physics) - Journal of Public Health - Environmental health --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
