The chapter traces how the once-powerful and independent Corruption Eradication Commission ( Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi , KPK) was undermined during the Joko Widodo administration through legislative amendments that brought it under executive control, and the appointment of a series of problematic leaders. Despite extensive anti-corruption laws and institutions, systemic corruption involving high-ranking officials remains endemic across all branches of government. ## Keywords - Legislation - Language change - Commission - Legislature - Political science - Law - Administration (probate law) - Public administration - Business - Law and economics - Political corruption - Economics --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
