Abstract

In recent years, due to the rapid growth of online learning platforms, the systems that are capable of assessing and developing users’ skills rather than merely presenting content have been demanded. This report delivers a proposed Skill Development Platform with Voice Integration System that provides aid in interview preparation along with the delivery of online courses. The skill development platform was built using the HTML, CSS and JavaScript technologies to develop a user-friendly web interface; while the backend was developed using Django and a SQLite database. Voice enabled interview simulator is one of the prominent features of the system. The voice enabled interview simulator simulates an interview by using TTS technology to present questions to the user and STT technology to capture and convert the user’s spoken response to text. The AI based evaluation engine analyzes the user’s response to decide a score and provides feedback to the user based on how closely the user’s response associates with the expected response through keyword matching and semantic analysis. Ultimately, the proposed system enhances student success by providing real-time evaluation, interactive feedback via the simulated interviews to increase student confidence and prepare students for the corporate world.
