Understanding the relationship between fisheries production and the development of fish-processing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is crucial for sustainable regional planning. This study aims to analyze the spatial and statistical relationship between fisheries production and the number and density of MSMEs in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan. The analysis combines spatial distribution using the Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) method, density analysis based on Euclidean Distance , and correlation and regression modeling. The results show that MSME distribution exhibits a clustered spatial pattern with a nearest neighbor ratio (T = 0.375) and z-score = − 6.76 , indicating significant clustering. The highest concentrations occur in coastal districts such as Kusan Hilir, Simpang Empat, and Satui, which also record the highest production levels. Regression analysis reveals a strong positive correlation (r = 0.783; R 2 = 0.613) between production and MSME growth. These findings highlight that spatial accessibility to marine resources directly supports downstream economic activities and emphasize the importance of integrating blue economy policies with coastal spatial planning to achieve sustainable fisheries-based regional development. ## Keywords - Production (economics) - Distribution (mathematics) - Sustainable development - Spatial distribution - Business - Fishery - Regression analysis - Geography - Spatial ecology - Factors of production - Spatial analysis - Positive correlation - Sustainable growth rate - Environmental resource management - k-nearest neighbors algorithm - Sustainable production - Statistical analysis - Marine fisheries - Linear regression - Common spatial pattern - Natural resource economics - Positive relationship - Sustainability - Spatial correlation - Spatial relationship - Fisheries management - Economic geography - Negative correlation --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
