The water sources used for irrigation are the Air Hitam River, rainwater, and the Siak River, with the help of two pump houses. A major issue from a water perspective is the availability of water in the tertiary plots, especially during the dry season. Insufficient water for irrigation will impact rice productivity. Research was conducted by modeling water distribution in DIR Siak Kiri with a simulation period in July 2025 using the SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) software, utilizing three water sources for irrigation. The observed water availability is the water level entering the tertiary plots (rice fields). Most of the tertiary plots have a maximum water height of 5 cm (63% of the total tertiary plots). This indicates that DIR Siak Kiri still requires an additional water supply to raise the water level in the tertiary plots, thereby meeting the water requirements necessary for irrigating the rice fields.
