Q3Abstract
This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Semantik digital application in strengthening the One House One Jumantik (G1R1J) program and reducing Aedes aegypti larval density in the working area of the Siko Health Center, Ternate City. A quasi-experimental design was applied involving 189 households. Data were collected through pre- and post-intervention assessments covering knowledge, attitudes, practices (KAP), and larval indices, including House Index (HI), Container Index (CI), Breteau Index (BI), Density Figure (DF), and Larval Free Index (LFI). The results showed significant improvements in community KAP and a substantial reduction in larval indices following the implementation of the Semantik application. DF decreased from medium to low category, while LFI increased beyond national standards. The intervention demonstrated that digital surveillance can enhance community participation and strengthen vector monitoring in dengue prevention efforts. These findings support the integration of digital tools to improve the effectiveness of community-based vector control programs.
