It is a traditional partnership between capital owners and farmers based on trust, customary norms, and informal agreements. This study used a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed using the Multi aspect Sustainability Analysis (MSA) method. The results show that the sociocultural sustainability index reached 63.36% and is considered quite sustainable, although projections indicate a decline to 51.79% in the future. The most decisive factors are the clarity of agreements, family involvement, and loss settlement mechanisms. This system has proven to provide benefits in the form of increased income, access to livestock, and risk sharing, while strengthening solidarity, trust, and mutual cooperation values in the community. However, weaknesses in supervision, potential conflicts, and the absence of written agreements remain obstacles to sustainability. Therefore, strengthening governance through transparency, written agreements, and more effective communication was necessary for profit-sharing to adapt to socioeconomic changes. With these steps, profit-sharing system remains relevant as a local wisdom-based empowerment strategy that supports the welfare of livestock farmers while maintaining social cohesion in the community. ## Keywords - Sociocultural evolution - Sustainability - CLARITY - Corporate governance - Empowerment - Economic growth - General partnership - Business - Social capital - Welfare - Pastoralism - Sustainable development - Socioeconomic status - Group cohesiveness - Qualitative research - Environmental resource management - Poverty - Public economics - Political science - Participant observation - Environmental planning - Generosity - Sociology - Public relations - Cohesion (chemistry) - Development economics - Equity (law) - Capital (architecture) - Economics - Human capital --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
