Abstract
PCR-based molecular detection of M. leprae from nasal swabs offers a reliable tool for identifying subclinical infection and monitoring transmission dynamics in endemic settings. Integrating molecular surveillance into public health strategies can significantly enhance early diagnosis and accelerate leprosy elimination programs.
