This paper presents the design and simulation of a home fast charging EV (HFC-EV) system, a topology designed to enable FC capabilities by integrating photovoltaic (PV) energy and a battery energy storage system (BESS). The proposed HFC-EV system includes an energy management system (EMS) to regulate power flow, ensuring that EV charging operates within grid capacity limits while maximizing the utilization of renewable energy. MATLAB Simulink simulations were conducted to evaluate power flow dynamics, energy contributions from PV and BESS, and grid dependency under various operational scenarios. The results validate the system compliance with IEC 61851 standards for charging power. This research significantly contributes to the development of the HFC-EV topology and EMS HFC-EV, introducing a novel solution for delivering FC for EV in home charging scenarios with limited grid capacity. ## Keywords - Photovoltaic system - Power (physics) - Electrical engineering - Automotive engineering - Power management - Computer science - Energy management - Architectural engineering - Engineering - Energy (signal processing) - Physics - Quantum mechanics --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
