The cell surface was covered by extracellular vesicles, and filamentous structures were observed. Adherence and emulsification were the two main modes of transfer of hydrocarbon to the cell surface. Growth on eicosane was associated with biosurfactant production. ## Keywords - Hydrocarbon - Strain (injury) - Substrate (aquarium) - Pseudomonas - Bacteria - Chemistry - Pseudomonadaceae - Pseudomonadales - Biodegradation - Pseudomonas aeruginosa - Extracellular - Solid surface - Microbiology - Chemical engineering - Biology - Biochemistry - Organic chemistry - Ecology - Anatomy - Chemical physics - Engineering - Genetics --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
