Unfortunately, due to unsustainable management and rampant corruption at almost every level of government, Indonesian deforestation is among the highest in the world. Unfortunately, due to corruption and mismanagement, Indonesians remain poor. This chapter portrays the relationship between politics and corruption and irresponsible management of the nation’s natural resources. It suggests ways to minimize corruption and stop the Indonesian government from its half-hearted enforcement of natural resources-related laws. ## Keywords - Politics - Language change - Natural resource - Natural (archaeology) - Political science - Development economics - Business - Geography - Economics - Law - Art - Archaeology - Literature --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
