Abstract
Abstract Gastropod diversity is an ecological parameter that can determine the condition of lakes in Indonesia. The diversity of gastropods is largely based on the biotic and abiotic environments, as well as how well they tolerate each environmental element. The aim of literature review is to provide an overview of the types of lake gastropods, the diversity of lake gastropods and the condition of Indonesian lakes. Based on the results of a literature search, was found gastropods types in lakes in Indonesia are: 6 types in Lake Poso; Singkarak 4 types; Sipogas 6 types; Rawa Pening 5 types; Sentani 5 Types; Lake Above 9 types and Situgintung 5 types. Diversity of Lake Types, namely Poso Lake 1,5394; Singkarak 399.75 ind/m 3 ; Sipogas 0.1 − 1.21; Rawa Pening 127−4619 ind/m 3 ; Lake Above 1.07; Situgintung 2.13. The lakes in Indonesia condition based on ecological parameters is generally moderately polluted. The results of literature searches on lakes in Indonesia condition based on ecological parameters, namely gastropod diversity, show in general lakes in Indonesia have experienced pollution so preventive efforts are needed involving various stakeholders to normalize lake conditions so that they can become healthy habitats for various aquatic organisms.
