Abstract
The purpose of this study serves to record the incidence of differences in nickel levels referring to magnesium oxide and silica oxide as enrichment control and to sulphur elements to identify various mineral ore collections in ultramafic rocks. Using the XRF method for the chemical composition of the saprolite zone of laterite nickel deposits, the polarization microscope for ultramafic ore mineralogy. The results indicated that there are different magma sources that represent the silica phase and sulfide phase so that low concentration accessories minerals are recorded in the traces of orthopyroxene and clinopyroxene. Silica a role in enrichment in dunite which produces variations in nickel and magnesium levels controlling the concentration of iron hydroxide. The continuation of concentration is shown in polished section pentlandite minerals that could have formed earlier in the period of sulfide formation that allowed the metallic element to spread and crystallize as covelite, calcopirite, malachite, chromite.
