Sequential power flow is used to execute the combined AC-DC power flow by adjusting the estimation of DC slack bus injection to speed up convergence and to get more optimal results. Several systematic load increase scenarios are proposed in this study to provide stress loading on the system so that the performance of HVDC can be evaluated.
