The method used in this study was map overlay and determining land use directions by following these steps: (1) preparation and data collection stages (primary data and secondary data); (2) data processing stages, namely combining data between land use and spatial patterns; (3) data presentation stages in the form of land unit results of suitability data; and (4) data analysis stages are details of suitability data and providing direction on data that is not suitable with the spatial pattern. The results obtained in this analysis are the land use that suitable in the Biang Loe watershed is 4,319.08 ha (91%), which is detailed in the cultivation area is 3,751.59 ha and in the protected area is 567.50 ha. Meanwhile, the land use that not suitable is 426.97 ha (9%), which is detailed in the cultivation area of 244.16 ha and in the protected area of 182.81 ha.
