Abstract
Green algae samples (Halimeda macroloba) were collected by hand (Snorkeling) from Lae-Lae Island, Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Samples were washed with seawater, freshwater, and distilled water to clean seaweed from salt, epiphytes, and other impurities. Then the wet samples (1 kg) were dried using a freeze drier.
