Abstract

Well, water in coastal areas has been under heavy pressure due to various things such as increasing community needs, arid conditions (reducing water debit), contamination by various pollutants from domestic community activities, and seawater intrusion. The aim is to find out how far the well water in the maritime coastal settlement is worthy of being a source of clean water for the community. The method used is through in situ and laboratories to find out the water content in settlements, in addition to doing observations to determine the conditions around the well. The result is that some well water contents exceed the clean water standard values from physical, chemical, and microbiology tests, also found that the distance has less effect on the well water salinity levels.
