## Abstract
The aim of this study is to analyze the factors associated with the turnover intention of nurses in Ibnu Sina YW-UMI Hospital Makassar. The nature of the research is analytic survey and the design is cross sectional. The research samples were 150 active working nurses determined using purposive sampling techniques. The collected data concerned biographical characteristics (age, gender, working period, and marital status), motivation, leadership, organizational culture, training and development, and performance appraisal. The data were processed with Chi Square test to examine the factors associated with nurses turnover intention. Logistic Regression test was performed to determine the dominant factor that influences turnover intention. The result show that factor associated with nurses turnover intention include working period (p=0,000), marital status (p=0,006), motivation (p=0,000), leadership (p=0,000), organizational culture (p=0,000), training and development (p=0,0006), performance appraisal (p=0,000) Meanwhile, age and gender are factors not associated with nurses's turnover intention (p=0,000, p=414). The most dominant factor associated with nurses turnover intention is motivation (p=0,000 OR=4.613). Nurses with high motivation are unlikely to commit turnover intention of 4.613 times compared with low motivated nurses.
