COMMUNITY BEHAVIOUR INFLUENCES AEDES SP. LARVAL DENSITY

Abstract

In this study, the results revealed that the knowledge, motivation and actions of respondents have a relationship with the density of Aedes sp. larval in the working area of Antang Community Health Centre in Makassar City (p= 0.000). Based on these results, it is recommended that the relevant parties viz., the Makassar City Health Office and Antang Health Centre, must further encourage improving of community knowledge. This can be through conducting socialization programs in electronic or print media regarding the socialization of the 3M Plus Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) program.
