Abstract
Continuous monitoring of distribution transformer data is crucial for maintaining power system stability; however, data validation on IoT devices remains a challenge in terms of security and integrity. This study creates and deploys a smart contract on the Base Sepolia Testnet to store transformer anomaly data, such as current and voltage. Unlike previous studies that focused solely on blockchain cryptocurrency, this study provides novel contributions in data integrity testing using blockchain technology and smart contract-based transformer sensor data validation through cryptographic hashing. The test results show that this approach achieves a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{1 0 0 \%}$</tex> success rate in detecting data manipulation, proving its effectiveness in maintaining information authenticity and improving the reliability of the monitoring system, particularly against threats of infrastructure failure and data manipulation.
