Its aim is to enhance the system's dynamic responses. The FO-PID controller is utilized to acquire KMA-optimized controller parameter values using the integral of time weighted absolute Error (ITAE) objective function to demonstrate the proposed approach. In accordance with the system dynamic response, the FO-PID controller surpasses the regular PID and 2DOF-PID controllers. The FO-PID controller's robustness is also tested in both domains with a step load. Finally, the simulation results reveal that KMA outperforms alternative population-based optimization strategies.
