Applying of Long Range (LR) WiFi with 2.4 GHz frequency is used as an extension of cost- effective data service on maritime wireless communications. Updates are in Long Range WiFi which is permanently on island or buoy so that can be shared by vessels in particular fishing vessels to transmit important information relating shipping activities such as vessel positions via Global Positioning System (GPS) on a mobile phone.
