This study evaluated the effectiveness of a topical serum probiotic containing Lactobacillus plantarum ATCC-8014 on wrinkle index, skin hydration, and ceramide levels. A pilot randomised controlled trial was conducted with 18 participants aged 30-60 years, assigned to either a treatment group using serum probiotics Lactobacillus plantarum or a control group using a serum with propylene glycol and glycerin. Promising improvements in wrinkle index, skin hydration, and ceramide levels were observed in the treatment group.
