Abstract

Abstract South Sulawesi is one of the areas prone to earthquakes. The Walanae Fault extends from the Makassar Strait to the Bone Bay. This fault stretches along the Walanae River and passes through the districts of Pinrang, Sidrap, Bone, to the Gulf of Bone. The structure of the stilt house is one that is earthquake resistant because it does not directly receive earthquake energy. Traditional techniques on the structure of houses on stilts in Bima district for earthquake resistance researched by Agus Hariyanto, Sugeng Tiyadi, and Andy Widyowijatnoko, stated that the local structural technique, namely pa’a which was empirically developed by the community over the years can reduce the vulnerability of houses. against earthquakes. This technique turns out to have similarities with the framework of the Bugis-Makassar stilt structure, which is classified as a rigid joint truss system. The purpose of this study was to determine the response and performance of the Bugis-Makassar stilt house structure in the Bone region which represents a high level of earthquake risk. The analysis was carried out on the structure of a Bugis stilt house in Bone using the ETABS v.20 program to obtain the response and performance of the structure. The results of the structural response from the study indicate the value of the lateral deviation of the floor. The Bone region has a floor lateral deviation of 3.64 mm and 6.45 mm for the X and Y directions. Based on the pushover analysis, the structure performance level has a B performance level for the Bone Region.
