The analog fuzzy logic controller (FLC) consists of three main cells: membership function circuits (MFC), fuzzy inference circuit (FIC) and defuzzification circuit (DFC). Each cell is partly described by its input-output behavior, schematic structure and its circuit layout. Several lowest hierarchical cells are laid out, which could be combined to perform larger cells. Those larger ones are then used as standard-cells to design and layout the larger cells and the overall FLC circuit. This approach proposes bottom-up design, and it makes the desired circuit easy to reconfigure to suit a targeted application. This paper presents a project to design analog fuzzy logic controller chips using methods resembling standard-cell-like techniques as in digital integrated circuit design technology. ## Keywords - Fuzzy logic - Fuzzy electronics - Computer science - Circuit design - Schematic - Controller (irrigation) - Circuit extraction - Physical design - Fuzzy control system - Defuzzification - Control engineering - Electronic engineering - Engineering - Adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system - Equivalent circuit - Fuzzy set - Embedded system - Fuzzy number - Electrical engineering - Artificial intelligence - Voltage - Agronomy - Biology --- Sumber: Discover Unhas — RIMS Universitas Hasanuddin.
