Abstract

Sustainable development has become a key focus in addressing global energy and environmental crises. Central to this is sustainable agricultural development, essential for economic and social stability. However, extensive agricultural practices have hindered progress, leading to challenges like water scarcity, soil degradation, pollution, labor shortages, and limited incentives for innovation in agriculture. Sustainable agricultural Optimization focuses on enhancing productivity while conserving resources and ensuring ecological balance. Ensuring agricultural sustainability is crucial for global well-being. This complex issue spans economic, social, and environmental dimensions. This paper explores holistic methods to assess sustainability by addressing its interconnected factors. This review also examines technological interventions to evaluate and optimize agricultural sustainability. It highlights the connectivity between ecological health, economic viability, and social equity while emphasizing the role of sustainability assessment and optimization tools, leveraging advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence in transforming agricultural practices.
