Q3Abstract
The seeds used are S01, S02, and S03 strains from the Bili-Bili Social Forestry and Environmental Forestry Agency (BPSKL) and PS01 from the Bogor Environmental and Forestry Research and Development Agency (LHK Litbang). The research results show that the PS01 strain is more adaptive in cultivating Wajo Regency, Soppeng, and Makassar City. The order of superiority of strains based on silkworm endurance and cocoon quality is PS01, S03, S01, and S02. The order of superiority of strains based on fiber yield is S03, S02, PS01, S01, and Import seed. It is recommended that the PS01 strain be a substitute or complementary seed with the C301 strain produced by State Forestry Company (Perum Perhutani) with optimal handling as a strain resulting from a bivoltine race cross.
