This research aims to create a formal model of quorum based k-mutual exclusion (k-mutex) algorithm. The formal model of quorum based k-mutex algorithm using input/output automata consists of five components: signature, state, initial state, transition, and task. The constructed model proved by using time line and execution of input/output automata.
